We're not all the same…
An arborist is a specialist in tree care. A good Certified Arborist is knowledgeable about the needs of trees and shrubs and how to provide the proper care for them. Well cared for trees add a great deal of value to your property. An arborist, certified by the ISA, meets both experience and testing guidelines.
Certified Arborists are trained to perform a variety of services to help you maintain the investment you have made such as:
- Pruning: An arborist can determine what type of pruning is necessary to maintain or improve the health, appearance and safety of your trees.
- Removals: Although tree removal is a last resort, there are times when it is necessary. An arborist can help decide whether a tree should be removed or not. Arborists have the skills and equipment to safely and effectively remove trees.
- Planting: Most Certified Arborists can recommend what types of trees are appropriate for a specific location. The wrong tree in the wrong location can lead to future problems.
- Emergency tree care: Storms may cause limbs or trees to fall. The weight of a storm-damaged tree is great and they can be very dangerous to remove or trim. An arborist can perform the job in a safe manner.
- Some other services that an arborist may provide are fertilizing and spraying. These treatments should be based on the needs of your specific trees.
- Another service that some, not all arborists provide is Plant Health Care, which is preventive and on-going maintenance to keep trees in good health. If you care about the health of your property and trees, it is worthwhile to hire a Certified Arborist.
NPHC provides all of the above services and specializes in Plant Health Care. We would be happy to evaluate your tree care needs and be a part of the future success of your landscape.
